Carawan's on the Bypass road (Rt. 158 across from the Food Lion in Southern Shores). They get their fish straight from the docks. If you time it right, your meal was swimming in the Atlantic earlier that morning. Next, add some Italian Dressing in the bag containing your fish and let it marinate for a few hours in the fridge. Finally, grille for about 5 to 7 minutes per side (cook to the temperature of your liking). My grille works best at a medium heat level. You may choose to sear and then reduce heat, your choice. Simple, yet a real crowd pleaser. Optional appetizer: NC Shrimp grilled for about 1 to 2 minutes per side Enjoy!
