 What could be better than fresh crabs for dinner tonight? There are plenty of great places to purchase your crabs, and even get them steamed up. But if you want to catch your own? The Outer Banks is a great place to do it ...
All you need to is pick up some chicken legs or wings, attach them to a string and cast your line out into the Sound (west side). In no time, the crabs will be drawn to your bait and will latch on. You can pull them up and drop them in a bucket. Watch out for their claws, they can be ferocious! And, as always, respect the nature here. If you get a small crab, be sure to "catch and release. Only take home what you plan to eat.
