The best way to see the Outer Banks is by riding your bike -- and there are some great bike trails to discover. First, you should drop by Kitty Hawk Cycle Company on Eckner Dr , and check with the owner, Michael. He will point you in the right direction. He also has the Dare County Bike Trail Maps which are free. I'm not a big fan of cycling in traffic, so the trail map has been a great resource. In fact, You can ride from The Hampton Inn in Corolla all the way to South Nags Head, MP 22 at the end of Old Oregon Inlet road without cycling on the high traffic roads. Here's how you do it ... |
