April 23 - 26, 2009 It's the first of March and Daytona Bike Week is still going on. But I'm here in the Outer Banks of North Carolina where we've had a beautiful day in the upper 60's, temp wise, but the future forecast is for more cold weather to come this week. So I'll keep my chaps and leather coat a few more weeks, but ...
April's Outer Banks Bike Week is just around the corner. April 23-26 is the annual Bike week sponsored by Bayside Harley's Group. ( www.outerbanksbikeweek.com). It's a time when we locals enjoy the spring time riding before the tourist season really begins. There are numerous rides from Corolla to Hatteras Island and also "The Big Loop", ( I like to call it), through mainland Dare County via Route 64 West through Hyde County to Route 32 North to Route 17 towards Elizabeth City, then back to 158 South back to the Outer Banks. There are other events going on too; you can surf over to my web page at www.atlanticshorerealty.info to see some sites like, One Boat Guides, The Outer Banks Guide, and The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce. These links will give you useable info for your next visit to the Outer Banks. Well, thank you for reading my comments and I look forward to seeing you in April. Ride Safe. Peter Daniel
