If you're vacationing in Duck this year, you have to check out the new park in the town of duck. It's a great place to take the young ones. You can check out the extensive docks with railings built to take you through beautiful soundside marsh ... 
Most of these docks have railings and are completely enclosed. There are some spots that lead directly to the water, so be careful. This is a wonderful opportunity to check out the OBX sunsets there in the evening. If you have young ones, check out the great little playground with slides, spinners, a climbing wall and water fountains. They even have a water fountain for your dog to get re-hyrdated. This is a great Outer Banks adventure if you are near Duck this Summer.
